Church Worker Training Set

Lay church worker conduct training is available at several locations around the diocese this year.

The training is required for any lay employee of the diocese, or any parish or institution. It is also required of volunteers in several positions, including those with pastoral responsibilities, those who supervisor or work with children, and those who make home visits.

Training will be offered on Saturday, May 5, at Good Shepherd, Ogden. The training lasts from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch provided. Participants must attend the whole session.

Registration deadline for the May 5 class is Tuesday, May 1.

Later classes will be offered August 18 in Kanab, Sept. 8 in Salt Lake City, and Oct. 6 at the diocesan office in Salt Lake City.
