the pageant, the event was a
surprise because it
happened not at
Christmas, but on
Sunday, Jan. 7, as
part of the
Epiphany
celebration,
and
because
the cast
included
children and
adults.

A Reminder
As you know the target date for completion of the Episcopal Church Center is October of this year. How is the quilt project in your congregation coming along?
The quilts may be made or purchased, but we are hoping for all beds in the hospitality center to have a colorful quilt folded at the foot of the bed, and to name the rooms after each of our churches. There are 15 rooms, mostly with two twin sized beds, so some of the smaller churches may wish to partner with another for this naming opportunity. Others known to us are providing two quilts.
All will be blessed at the Offertory at our Diocesan Convention Oct. 27.
Un recordatorio
Como ustedes saben, la fecha en la que se terminara el nuevo centro de la Iglesia Episcopal es octubre de este año. Como va el proyecto de las cobijas en sus respectivas congregaciones. Las cobijas pueden ser compradas o elaboradas, estamos esperando que todas las camas en el centro de hospitalidad tengan una colcha colorida, doblada al pie de la cama y nombrar cada cuarto con el nombre de cada una de nuestras Iglesias, la mayoría de los cuartos tendrán dos camas gemelas, por lo tanto algunas de nuestras congregaciones pequeñas pueden pensar en asociarse con alguna otra en este proyecto, otras, sabemos proveerán dos colchas. Todas las colchas serán bendecidas en el ofertorio de nuestra Convención Diocesana en octubre 27.
