Provice VIII Meets in SLC

Sixteen Bishops from the western United States gathered at St. Mark's
Cathedral for three days of meetings and paused for a group photo in
the Dean's Hall of the Cathedral Center. In addition to welcoming
the new Bishop of Nevada, they meet about common ground in what the
national church describes as the most demographically diverse Province
on the planet. The Bishops represent the eighteen dioceses that make
up Province VIII which reaches from Alaska to southern California and
across the Pacific to Taiwan. Our Province is one of the nine American
Episcopal Church Provinces that stretch from Asia to Europe. In addition
to their annual meeting, the Bishops toured the new Episcopal Church
Center of Utah, the historic St. Mark's Cathedral and ate lunch
with the St. Mark's Bible Study group.
