The Rev. Dr. Kay Cook ordained in Cedar City

The Rev. Dr. Kay Cook was ordained a priest at St. Jude's in Cedar City on January 12th. The Utah Diocese's newest priest had been a deacon since June. Dr. Cook is the chair of the Southern Utah University English Department and plans to be part of the campus ministry. Her ministry also extends to the Latino community, as well as extending pastoral care to the congregation at St. Jude's. The Rt. Rev. Carolyn Tanner Irish ordained the Texas native in the joyous service.
