Coffee Hour: What's Perkin' in the Parishes
The annual chicken dinner at St. Michael's, Brigham City, netted slightly more than $2,000 for Episcopal Relief and Development. Rose Trollinger, parish coordinator and former ERD diocesan coordinator, supervised the dinner.
The choir from St. John's, Logan, participated in the Community Christmas Concert in Logan that was held Dec. 9 at the LDS Tabernacle. The event held produce donations for the Cache Community Food Pantry.
Good Shepherd, Ogden, is experiencing new commitment to youth ministry. Letitia Teneau-Sword serves as Catechist. Laura Clark will serve as director of Sunday School classes.
Karen Gleason has begun work as part time youth coordinator at St. James, Midvale.
Parishioners at Grace Church, St. George, are participating in "Buy a Key" to cover costs of the new grand piano used for worship services. The new piano is played by Susan Ertel and Jan Smith, and replaces an older piano which was described as "falling apart."
