Youth grant money!

The Diocese of Utah continues to be impressed by the outreach ministry of the youth. Projects, such as assistance in food banks, fund raising for homeless shelters, and new awareness of the Green Vocation are important outreach projects that make a difference. The Diocese has a program to match certain funds raised by youth groups that help the communities we serve.

Youth groups may apply for the matching funds by contacting the Diocese of Utah Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator, Karen Van Winkle. She can be reached at the Episcopal Church Center of Utah, 75 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, Ut. 84111. The Bishop of Utah, the Rt. Rev. Carolyn Tanner Irish, is especially hopeful to see groups apply for the funds.
