On Sunday, August 5, the people of St. Paul's, Vernal, hosted a celebration to honor Sonny Beacham on the 20th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. Seventy-five people representing St. Paul's; Holy Spirit, Randlett; St. Elizabeth's, Whiterocks; and St. Timothy's, Rangely, CO, gathered for an outdoor Eucharist, a time of shared memories, and the giving of gifts to commemorate Sonny's long and continuing ministry to the people of the Uintah Basin. He is shown here with children from St. Paul's and the stole they presented to him.
