The shell of the new building is starting to take shape. When completed in September next year, the building will contain approximately 33,000 square feet. It will house the diocesan offices, hospitality rooms, conference space, resource center, and a coffee bar and bookstore.

A committee is collaborating with representatives of St. Mark's Cathedral, which is also undergoing major construction.

Another committee is at work on the operations of the center, including selection of furnishings and of technical support for the conference space.

The committee is working to maximize coordination of the common grounds and landscaping between the center and the cathedral, and to develop a joint operating agreement for the campus that will be created.

Site of the construction is west of the cathedral, between the cathedral and Second East in downtown Salt Lake City.

Culp Construction Company is general contractor. Beuse Peters Architects is project architect.

The center is a project of Project Jubilee.
