Camp Tuttle is a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates spiritual enlightenment in the outdoors.

Camp Tuttle is a ministry of the Episcopal Church of Utah. We serve an increasingly diverse community of groups and individuals seeking connection and restorative experiences in nature. Tuttle has been in operation as a summer camp since 1958 and is open to all. We welcome more than 500 guests annually to our “little corner of the world.”

    Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry program operates all year long, offering opportunities for youth to connect, rejoice, and nurture the spirit alongside friends and family.

    Overnight Camps

Our flagship program is our Overnight Camp experience. We host overnight camping experiences for youth in grades 3-12. Campers participate in a challenge course that promotes teamwork, trust, and creative thinking. We also offer weekend retreats and multiple family camps for all ages.

    Facilities Rental

With lodging up to 95 guests and a culinary staff at the ready, Camp Tuttle is a fantastic venue for small events. Our facilities, including our renowned challenge course, are available to rent for church groups, youth retreats, field trips, and more.

    When to Visit

Join us for spirited engagements and opportunities happening every month of the year. Our youth ministry operates yearlong programs for youth enrichment. Camp Tuttle operates during the summer months and offers weekend retreats beginning in early autumn. Our facilities and challenge courses are available for rental during the summer when overnight camp is not in session and in the autumn leading up to the first snowfall.

    Where You'll Find Us

You’ll often find us at our historic campus nestled in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Brighton, UT. About 30 miles from Salt Lake City, our campus is surrounded by a beautiful glacial bowl of glassy lakes and pebble bottom streams, teeming with broad-beamed virgin timber and fields of incredibly lush wildflowers. Throughout the school year, we also host events at local congregations in the Salt Lake Valley.
