Episcopalians from around the Diocese March to Show Support for Utah’s LGBTQ+ Community

Once again the diocese advocated for inclusivity and showed God’s love for all by marching in the Utah Pride Parade. Vestry member Christian Larsen of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City spearheaded the diocesan participation this year. It was a day of joy and fun, but also one of serious reflection on 50 years of social justice efforts for the LGBTQ+ community. The church has been a visible and enthusiastic participant in the parade for years. Bishop Scott B. Hayashi, the clergy, and hundreds of congregational members have spent years marching, attending hearings, and advocating for equality in Utah.
