Welcome to the Holy Week service schedule page for the Episcopal Diocese of Utah. Here, you will find the most up-to-date listings of all the services taking place across our churches during Holy Week, from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday. This schedule includes times, locations, and details for each event and will be continuously updated to reflect any changes and provide additional information from churches as it becomes available. 

Dates and Times for Holy Week Events and Services

All Saints Episcopal Church
– Palm Sunday: March 24 at 8:30 AM & 10:30 AM
– Women of the Passion: March 27 at 7 PM
– Maundy Thursday: March 28 at 7 PM (followed by Night Watch with 1-hour watches)
– Stations of the Cross: March 29 at 12 PM
– Good Friday Liturgy: March 29 at 7 PM
– Easter Vigil: March 31 at 6:30 AM
– Easter Day Festive Holy Eucharist: March 31 at 10 AM (followed by potluck and egg hunt for the kids)

Ascension St. Matthew’s
– Palm Sunday: March 24 at 10:30 AM (with Palm Sunday Procession)
– Maundy Thursday Service: March 28 at 7:00 PM (with communion, – Washing of the Feet, and Washing of the Hands station)
– Good Friday Services: March 29 at 12:00 PM – Stations of the Cross, March 29 at 7:00 PM – Evening Service (Dramatic reading of the Passion of Christ, No communion)
– Easter Vigil: March 30 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (with Centering Prayer, Taizé music, and meditation)
– Easter Sunday: March 31 at 8:00 AM (Sunrise Service with communion), 9:30 AM (Potluck Brunch), 10:30 AM (Regular Easter Worship Service with communion)

Cathedral Church of St. Mark

Starts in the courtyard with palm crosses, followed by a procession around the building
– Agape Service, Monday, March 25: 6:30 p.m. (A meal shared to celebrate God’s unconditional love, organized by The Rev. Dcn. Patti Sanchez)
– Maundy Thursday: 6:30 p.m. in English, 6:00 p.m. in Spanish
Commemorates The Last Supper, Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, and Jesus’ commandment of love
Followed by the Good Friday Vigil, continuing until noon on Good Friday
– Good Friday: Noon in English, 6:00 p.m. in Spanish (Observance of Christ’s crucifixion, with options to walk the Stations of the Cross)
