Catholic theologian and University of Utah professor Brandon R. Peterson, Ph.D., will join the Cathedral Church of St. Mark on Oct. 25 for a conversation about his new book, Christ the Savior: Historical Models for an Ecumenical Future. Drawing from Catholic and Protestant traditions, Peterson explores five historical understandings of Christ’s saving work and how Christians can learn from one another without overlooking their theological differences.

Hosted as part of St. Mark’s Tull Lecture series, the event will include a lecture, readings from the book, Q&A, and book signing.
