Faith Rooted in Worship & Love
The Episcopal Church follows Jesus Christ through a life of worship, learning, service, and community. Our faith is grounded in Scripture, nourished through prayer, and strengthened by the sacraments. We gather to worship God, support one another, and seek Christ’s presence in our daily lives.
At the heart of our tradition is God’s love for all people. We believe faith is not only something we profess but something we practice—through acts of compassion, generosity, justice, and care for our neighbors. Together, we strive to grow as disciples of Jesus and share God’s love in the world.
Questions Are Welcome
Faith is a journey, and every person’s path is unique. In The Episcopal Church, questions are not obstacles to faith—they are often part of how faith grows. Whether you have been part of a church community your whole life, are exploring Christianity for the first time, or are returning after time away, you are welcome here.
We come from many backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. There is room for curiosity, conversation, doubt, and discovery. You do not need to have all the answers to belong.

The Episcopal Way
The Episcopal tradition seeks to follow Christ through a balance of Scripture, tradition, and reason. We read the Bible as the inspired Word of God, guided by the wisdom of the Church and informed by thoughtful reflection and experience.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer, which provides a shared rhythm of prayer, worship, and spiritual formation. We celebrate the sacraments, especially Baptism and Holy Eucharist, as outward and visible signs of God’s grace.
In Baptism, we make promises to continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, persevere in faith, proclaim the Good News of Christ, seek and serve Christ in all persons, and strive for justice and peace. These promises guide how we live, worship, and engage with the world around us.
A Church for Utah
Across Utah, Episcopal congregations serve their communities through ministries of compassion, hospitality, education, and outreach. We are committed to creating spaces where all people are welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow in faith.
Our beliefs inspire action. We care for our neighbors, advocate for dignity and justice, nurture future generations, and respond to the needs of our communities with generosity and hope. Rooted in the love of Christ and connected across the state, we seek to be a faithful presence in Utah—sharing God’s love through word and deed.
